Patriot Foundry & Castings is a leading nonferrous electronics industry casting foundry specializing in the production of sand castings using bronze, aluminum and zinc-based alloys. Our electronics industry customers include small-machine shops to multi-million dollar corporations. We tackle projects involving anywhere from a single part to thousands, and cast electronics industry parts weighing from a few ounces to more than 100 pounds. These parts include, brackets, housings, frames, rollers, pins, wheels, switches, handles, and many more. Our strict set of documented procedures, lean production methods, and energy efficiency protocols allow us to deliver repeatable, consistent and cost-effective products to our electronics industry customers.
We melt ingots of A356, A357, 713, C876, C958, ZA12, ZA27, and many other alloys. For a full list of alloys and detailed information on each, visit our page on metal alloy casting. Our DUNS number is 826918117 and our CAGE Code is 54J41. Patriot is proud to be ISO 9001:2015 Certified.
Our electronics industry casting services include:
Assembly analysis/casting integration: We work closely with our electronics industry clients to determine where we may be able to trim costs. For example, we saved one customer 60% in production costs by determining we could combine two castings and a welded piece into a single casting. Thanks to us, the company recouped its tooling costs in less than two years.
Reverse engineering: We use 3D scanning and design analysis to understand and replicate a part that’s been produced elsewhere. We can also analyze a part’s chemical and metallographic characteristics to identify the materials and post-production processes used. Afterward, we consult with you to develop an effective plan of action for moving to production.
Prototypes: Computer modeling has its place, but nothing beats an actual physical prototype. Prototypes help you evaluate a manufacturing process and offer a preview of how a part will look, feel and handle. At Patriot, we often produce fully functional prototypes, as well as non-working ones that our customers use in presentations to potential investors, stakeholders and test market panels.
