713 is a cast aluminum alloy consisting of 0.25% silicon, 0.35% chromium, 0.15% nickel, 1.1% iron, 0.4 to 1% copper, 0.2 to 0.5% magnesium, 0.25% titanium, 7 to 8% zinc, and 0.6% manganese. 713 is commonly used to make parts for various industrial sectors where high strength and ductility are important. 713 attains its strength during a naturally aging process typically achieving these properties in 10-14 days. Patriot Foundry makes 713 castings for frames, brackets, levers, bases, housing, heavy duty fan blades, bench frames, and more.
At Patriot Foundry & Castings, we specialize in producing metal alloy castings utilizing the 713 alloy. We’re capable of handling 713 alloy casting jobs from one to thousands of pieces, and 713 castings between half an ounce and over 100 pounds. We also cast a variety of other nonferrous metals.
